Efficiency

Every blogger craves to be cyborg-like in their online dealings.

If you patiently assess your blogging campaign, inefficiencies will arise.

This is OK; in order to be efficient, let go the inefficient. So scrap those time-wasters to turn yourself into a lean, mean, blogging machine.

Following a few basic tips will help you become an efficient blogger. Effective, efficient bloggers set the table for a profitable, thriving blogging campaign but only if they do things from the right energy,

Being efficient does not give you license to run around like a chicken with its head cut off, in a desperate panic. Follow these tips to make the greatest impact with each blogging action versus trying to squeeze 14,000 blogging tasks into one day.

Work on the Clock

Set times for blogging tasks.

After the time period expires, drop the task like a hot potato. Move on to the next activity.

Following this simple habit helps you detach from any one activity, an instant efficiency booster. More than that, working on the clock keeps you energized because you know the clock is ticking.

No need to hurry through tasks because of your intended deadlines. Just get to work by focusing fully on the task at hand to get the job done in an efficient, effective manner.

Take Hourly Breaks

Break every hour or breakdown due to inefficiencies.

Efficient bloggers pull back from work to tap into the power of pause. Inefficient bloggers burnout by plowing through their work day without taking breaks.

Even mindful, focused bloggers get caught up in the day to day hustle and bustle of being a blogger. Clients, customers and social media engagements await you. Can you honestly remain balanced, poised and calm amid this maelstrom of daily stuff that will happen online and offline?

Take a 5 to 10 minute break at the top of every hour. Without exception, pulling back hourly is an easy way to stay efficient because you see inefficiencies creep up throughout the course of a normal blogging day.

Set an alarm clock. Stop, drop and roll away from your laptop to stay on point.

Prune Persistently

Regularly prune your blogging tasks.
Whittle down your blogging activities to become efficient.

From time to time you may add bloat to your blogging campaign. A fear injected here, a worry injected there, and you toss in a few blogging activities that serve no purpose and need to go.

Pruning your work day lets go the old and worn out to make room for the new, efficient and effective.

Take a deep breath. Relax. Do a genuine blogging inventory at least once every 2-3 to months to strip away the ineffective. Make room for the efficient and effective to spend your blogging time wisely.

Know Why

Know why you blog.

Tie the reason to something fun and freeing.

If you follow your blogging passion you are efficient. Point blank. Distracted, struggling, inefficient bloggers value wasting time over blogging because you make time for what you value.

Get clearer on your direction. Get clearer on your focus. Get serious about building a rocking blog and stay on track by revisiting the reason why you blog.
